The laser power meter is designed to use analog sensors from Ophir. These sensors require +-15v and output a voltage that scales linearly with power output. The meter employs a 24 bit ADC for high accuracy.

The meter contains 64KB of flash memory that can be used for data logging and can graph logged data. The data can be exported via the USB connector to a PC.

The device is powered by a built-in battery and recharges through USB-C.
