The Atmel AVR Programmer is a simple in circuit microcontroller programmer for Atmel AVR series of 8-bit micontrollers. It is designed to be left in-circuit and can provide its own power to boards with either 3.3v or 5v supplies. Once programming is complete connections to the target board float to ensure there are no conflicts. It also provides a USB UART port for chip debugging, allowing a single in-circuit connection for complete AVR programming and diagnostics.

The Atmel AVR Programmer is software compatible with the open source USBASP programmer software and is available as an open source design on GitHub.
