This is a complete class IV 532nm laser design including resonator, electronics and chassis.

Resonator

The resonator is a continuous wave intracavity frequency doubled standing wave resonator. The gain medium is a 12mm Nd:YVO4 crystal that is end-pumped by dual 40w fiber arrays. The infrared fundamental is frequency doubled using a 10mm KTP crystal.

Electronics

Electronics consists of three boards: a power board consisting of dual 50 amp constant current power supplies, a TEC controller board that can independently control four TEC coolers, and a control board providing front panel controls. The electronics are run via a bank of rechargeable LiPoly batteries.

Chassis

The chassis is custom machined from aluminum and provides dual zones to keep the resonator isolated and clean.
